Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), under the UGC–Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) and Staff Training & Research Institute of Distance Education (STRIDE), is set to organize an Eight-Day Online NEP Orientation & Sensitization Programme from 25th September to 7th October, 2025.
The programme, which will be conducted in afternoon sessions from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, aims to orient faculty members, research scholars, and educators on the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020).
The target group includes faculty from Central, State, Deemed, and Private Universities as well as affiliated and constituent colleges. Private college educators, research scholars, and post-doctoral fellows are also encouraged to participate.

The orientation will cover a wide range of academic and policy-related themes, including:
- Higher Education and Society
- Indian Knowledge Systems
- Multidisciplinary Education
- Research and Development

The programme will be led by Prof. Uma Kanjilal, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, IGNOU, along with Prof. Anita Priyadarshini, Programme Director & Director, STRIDE, IGNOU, and supported by senior faculty including Dr. Ram Chandra and Dr. Manoj Tirkay.

- Mode: Online (first-come, first-serve basis)
Participants can register through the UGC MMTTC portal, selecting the host institute IGNOU, and uploading the required NOC.
This programme will be considered for the Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) as per UGC norms.
